Data Not Showing on Dashboard

If the dashboard is empty or showing $0 on widgets that should have data, work through these checks in order.

1. Check the connection

Go to Settings → Connections and look at the status dot:

  • Green — connection healthy; the data should be flowing. Skip to step 3.
  • Amber — last sync returned fewer records than expected. Wait 15 minutes for the next sync, or click Disconnect → Connect to refresh.
  • Red — the connection failed. See Connection Problems.

2. Wait for the first sync

If you just connected, data takes up to 5 minutes to appear. The first sync pulls 12 months of history; subsequent syncs are incremental and finish in seconds.

3. Look at the refresh timestamp

The dashboard header shows "Refreshed N min ago." If it's been more than 15 minutes since the last refresh, click your browser refresh button to force a new fetch.

4. Check the data in your PSA directly

If your dashboard shows $0 for monthly revenue, log into your PSA and confirm there are actually invoiced records for the current month. Sometimes the answer really is "the firm hasn't invoiced yet."

5. Try the manual rebuild

If you're an admin, you can trigger an immediate cache rebuild from the audit log page. Settings → Security shows recent system activity; if the most recent "psa_sync" entry is old, the cron may have skipped a tick. The next page load on any widget that uses cached metrics auto-heals the cache inline.

Still empty?

Contact support and include:

  • Your firm name
  • The widget(s) showing no data
  • The status dot color in Settings → Connections
  • The most recent timestamp from your Security audit log

We can usually identify the root cause within a few minutes.
