Budget intelligence catches projects before they go over. Two widgets work together: Budget Health (the early warning) and Project Profitability (the diagnosis).
Budget Health
Per-project budget consumption vs progress with burn rate and projected overrun. The widget sorts projects with the worst trend first, so the project most likely to bust budget shows at the top.
Project Profitability
Every active project ranked by margin, worst first. Click any row with phase data to expand into Schematic Design / Design Development / Construction Documents - where margin problems usually hide.
Phase-level drill-down
Where your PSA exposes project phases, ProLens reads them. Each phase has its own budget, hours-to-date, and projected completion. The phase view often reveals that the project total looks fine while SD is already 130% consumed.
The morning AI narrative
The Budget Health AI insight runs at 6:45 AM CT each day. It names the single project most likely to overrun this month and explains why.
Budget Health uses your PSA's budget field. If your PSA stores budgets in fee dollars vs hours, ProLens reads whichever is populated. Mixed units across projects can produce noisy averages.
