Utilization Targets

Utilization targets tell the dashboard what "good" looks like. The Team Utilization widget colors people green, amber, or red based on how close they are to target.

Where to set targets

Settings > Utilization Targets. Three layers:

• Firm-wide default (e.g., 75%)
• Per-discipline override (Architecture 80%, Interiors 70%)
• Per-person override (associate principals at 50%)

How rendering works

Each row in Team Utilization shows actual / target. Above target renders green, near target amber, well below red. The 4-week trend bar uses the same coloring.

Capacity definitions

By default capacity is 40 hours per week. Settings > Utilization Targets allows per-person overrides (e.g., 32 for part-time staff). PTO and holidays automatically reduce that week's capacity.
