Sharing project documents with clients through the portal.
Document sharing is a portal-side feature that lets you publish project documents to clients without giving them PSA access.
How it works
From the Project Profitability page, each project has a Documents tab. Upload PDFs, images, or links. Tag each document with which client portals it should appear in.
Where clients see them
The portal Documents section shows everything tagged for that client. Clients can preview inline or download.
Access control
Documents inherit the client's portal scope. A document attached to a project belonging to Acme Corp only appears in Acme Corp portal sessions.
Retention
Documents live in ProLens storage indefinitely until you remove them. Storage is per-tenant; one tenant cannot see another's documents.
Documents are stored, unlike financial records. Treat the Documents feature as production storage: anything you upload should be intentional and final.
