Dashboard Overview
How the executive dashboard is laid out, what every section is for, and how to customize it.
The executive dashboard is your firm's command center. It loads at the root URL when you sign in.
Layout
KPI tiles sit across the top. Five numbers that answer the "how are we doing" questions executives ask:
- Monthly Revenue
- Outstanding AR
- Team Utilization
- Active Projects
- Pipeline Value
Each tile carries a one-line AI annotation explaining what is behind the number today (e.g., "Trending 12% behind April at the same business day, driven by delayed Novak billing").
Widgets fill the body. Default layout shows Revenue Trend, FX Rate, Revenue Pulse, Team Utilization, AR Aging, Budget Health, Pipeline, Project Profitability, Timesheet Compliance, Upcoming Milestones, Who's Out, Client Satisfaction, Client Activity, and Market Conditions. You can add, remove, resize, and reorder them.
AI insights appear throughout, marked with a teal sparkle icon. See Notifications for how AI insights work and how to train them.
Customize the layout
Every team member has their own dashboard layout. Changes save automatically.
Enter Edit Mode
Click the Customize button in the top-right of the dashboard. Drag handles appear on every widget.
Move widgets
Grab the handle and drag a widget to a new spot. The grid snaps the widget into place.
Resize widgets
Each widget supports up to three sizes:
- Small (S) - 1/3 width
- Medium (M) - 2/3 width
- Full (F) - full row
Not every widget supports every size; the resize handle only exposes the sizes that make visual sense for that widget.
Add a widget
Click Add widget in the Edit Mode toolbar. The catalog opens showing every widget you do not currently have on your dashboard, grouped by category. Click any widget to drop it onto your layout.
Remove a widget
Hover any widget in Edit Mode; the close icon in the corner removes it. Removed widgets stay in the catalog so you can add them back later.
Exit Edit Mode
Click Done in the top-right. Your layout is already saved; the button just exits the editing UI.

View details
Many widgets have a View details link that takes you to the deeper insight page for that domain. Insight pages live at /revenue, /budget, /clients, /projects, /team, /pipeline, /invoicing, and /tasks.
Every user has their own layout. Customizing yours does not change anyone else's view.
